Day 4: Zagora-Tazzarine-Alnif-Erfoud-Merzouga
Breakfast is followed by an excursion to Tamegroute, where you visit
the famous library containing ancient Koranic scriptures dating from
the 13th century. Departure towards Tazzarine, then via the palm plantation
of Todra, before continuing on to Erfoud and Merzouga via Alnif. You
will appreciate the pure beauty of the landscape while traveling to
your bivouac tent, you will have the opportunity to explore the area
further by camel back. Experience Berber life first-hand as you pass
the night under the vast Saharan sky. Dinner and accommodation in bivouac
( Bedouin Tent).
Day.5 : Merzouga-Tinjdad-Gorges de Todra–
Tinghir
Visit the area around Tafilalet, one of the palm-richest areas of the
Moroccan south. Departure towards the village of Tinghir, a center rich
in Palm trees. Continuation to the majestic rocks of the Todra valley
near the oasis of Mellab. Visit of the oasis and environment populeted
with Berbere villages and nomads minding their herds of goats.Hike down
the narrow gorges, the fruit of the separation of the High Atlas and
Djebel Saghro, Refresh yourself a bit by bathing your feet in the cold
and crystalline water of the river. Spend tonight in Tineghir. Dinner
and overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 : Tinghir – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Breakfast and departure to the pink places, meant is the road of the
kasbahs and the incomparable crossing of the mountain chains of the
High Atlas, Visit to the gorges of the Dades Valley, Walk in the tranquility
of the mountains and take a moment to appreciate the lifestyle of the
Berbers isolated by the mountain, departure towards Skoura via Klâa
M’Gouna, visit of the majestic Kasbah of Skoura, As you continue
driving the palm trees are replaced by orchards and irrigated gardens
where roses are the speciality for making perfumes. Arrival at ouarzazate
where you visit the kasbah of Taourirt and Tifltout. Dinner and overnight
at hotel.
Day 7 : Ouarzazate – marrakech
Departure towards marrakech by multiple mountains curves of the majestic
chain of the High Atlas.Visit of the kasbah of telouet and arrival in
marrakech.Afternoon at leisure.Dinner overnight at hotel.
Optional: Moroccan dinner with folklore show and fantasia (traditional
Moroccan horse exhibition/race), under the Caid’s tents in the
palmgrove 9 kms from the City centre. In this case half board will include
lunch at hotel.
Day 8 : marrakech
After breakfast you prepare for your transfer to the airport in marrakech.
